It has only been a few days since running my first marathon,but thoughts are already looming in my brain…what’s next? I am always searching for great races to run. A race that has been on my radar for awhile is the Women’s Health Magazine Run 10 Feed 10 in Chicago. The race is a 10K run (6.2 miles) and for an excellent cause!
The Women’s Health’s RUN10 FEED10 race series is a nationwide race series and wellness event to help fight domestic hunger in partnership with FEED, the organization founded by philanthropist and social entrepreneur Lauren Bush Lauren. When you register to run the 10K, a donation of 10 meals to a local Chicago food bank will be made on your behalf.
Included in your registration is a 2014 limited edition FEED bag and a FEED bracelet as a special finisher prize.
The race takes place at Diversey Harbor on Sunday, October 19th at 8 am
