Battling an evil cold that has me aching all over,so short post today!
This past week seemed to fly by. I tried to relax as much as I could,but found myself super antsy. I’m so used to having my marathon schedule to follow for the last 18 weeks. I just didn’t know what to do with myself. I’m trying to figure out my what’s next plan. Need a new schedule,since that helps keep me in line.
Monday: Got in a car accident on the way home from work 😦 It was pouring rain out and I was just not in the mood for this. Car ended up having to get towed. Not a good day!
Tuesday-Friday- I finally got back into reading. Love relaxing with a good book,especially on chilly nights. I also did some at home yoga this week.
I found myself actually feeling really great this past week for having run a marathon. I went to work on Monday,just chose elevator over the stairs 😉 Was back to the stairs by Wednesday. 🙂
Saturday morning I went out for a 6 mile run. It felt great to get back out there! My legs were feeling a bit heavy,but still managed an under 10 minute mile.
My next race is the Hot Chocolate 15K. I’ve heard a lot of bad things about this race,ie. bad congestion. I got my corral assignment last week and am in B. Hoping it won’t be too bad.
