Wow, January is starting off fast and busy. I’m finally back into the swing of things and back on track. I’m trying to get in 3 runs a week, 2 shorter and one longer. I also started tracking my food. For some reason taking a few extra cookies doesn’t seem like such a great idea when you write it down. 😉
Next week I leave this lovely cold,snowy state for California! Super excited for my first trip out to Disneyland since I was 8. Also can’t wait for my first race of the year, the Star Wars Half Marathon. Anyone have recommendations on places to see and eat outside of the Disney area?

Wednesday: 3 mile run
Thursday: cross training workouts at home
Friday: 4 mile run
Saturday: cross training workouts at home
Sunday: 12 miles. The roads were snowy and icy. I can’t risk an injury so I did this indoors on a track. Felt like the longest 12 miles I’ve ever done!
